What we collect and why
- Enquiries and quotes: your name, phone number, email, address and details about your project, so we can respond, visit and price your work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- Customers: the above, plus records of the work and payments, so we can carry out the job, issue invoices and meet our legal and tax obligations.
- Website analytics and advertising: if you accept cookies, Google and Meta (Facebook) set cookies that measure visits and the performance of our adverts. These only load with your consent, and you can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link at the foot of every page.
Who we share it with
We only share information where it’s needed for your job or required by law: for example with Building Control, structural engineers, our accountant, and the providers who host our email and website. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t go ahead are deleted after two years. Customer records are kept for seven years to meet tax and warranty requirements.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by contacting us using the details above. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
